October 2007 Newsletter
I am so excited to share what has been happening over the last month! I had the privilege of being a guest on a cable television show, Conversations with Wolfgang, on the subject of "Prenatal Bonding", which aired in Los Angeles, California!
I have also been speaking to groups on the subject of "How to Make Parenting Easier and Get Better Results!" Later this month, I will be speaking in San Diego on the topic of "Sibling Rivalry and Families with Special Needs." And, in November, I am partnering with Sandra Ruggles, PhD, to bring "Money Camp for Families" to the Sacramento area! We are planning to take this program into other cities as well. Let us know if you are interested in having this made available in your area. This program is designed to teach children about money, while incorporating parenting and relationship building skills. After all, how you do anything is how you do everything!
As I look at the partnerships being created with A Loving Way, my attention is drawn to families and how we partner with our spouses, children, friends and community. I recommend taking a look at the partnerships in your life to see how they are working for you. How could you take those partnerships to an even higher level, and create even more of the results that you are looking for? Let your imagination go, and dream BIG! What do you want to create? Who can you partner with to make that happen? How can you create more partnership in your family? What a huge gift for your kids!
This month's article is entitled "Kids' News Day." It is about partnership in the community.
I have also written an article for The RAY, entitled "The Celebration of Motherhood."
As A Loving Way continues to expand, we are meeting some wonderful people! It is proving to be truly an exciting journey. One such person is Dan Coppersmith, who has written a beautiful poem entitled Hello World. This poem contains a profound message of connection with Self, which is so in alignment with our philosophy at A Loving Way. Please take the time to read this poem, breathing in the love and the empowerment that it creates with each word. I suggest reading it out loud with your kids, and even hanging it in a place at home where they can visit it often. What a wonderful gift for your family!
Looking at another area of partnership, do money issues create conflict between you and your partner? Is it sometimes hard to make decisions together about spending or saving money? Would you like to start transforming the way you think and talk about money with your partner and bring more joy and abundance into your relationship? Money has a dramatic impact on families. The stress and anxiety trickle all the way down to the kids. If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you may want to explore a free e-course called "The Step by Step Strategy to Building your Rich Couples Plan". This is another beautiful way to support connection and harmony at home!
It DOES take a village to raise a child! Who is in your village? Are you getting the support/coaching you need? Utilize the resources available to you. It makes a huge difference!
Have a beautiful month!
