Celebrating Motherhood

Happy Mother's Day to all of our moms!

This quote made me think of counting the wonderful blessings we receive from our moms. Mothers are so special!

“If you want to feel rich,
just count all of the things you have that money can't buy.”

Mothers provide so many "things … that money can't buy." They give us special hugs and kisses, smiles and laughter, they put on bandaids like only moms can, they give snugs in just the right way, prepare food for us, drive us places, create play dates with our friends, tutor us, listen, share, open their beautiful hearts, give unconditional love, and they wipe our tears when our heart is broken … just to name a few.

Let's wake up each morning and start our day with a grateful heart towards our moms, even if our mom is no longer with us. What have you received from your mom that has made a significant impact in your life? Where would you be without her? How can you show your gratitude and love?
